Uncategorized Posted on May 17, 2009 by Niall Quinn Long Beach, CA – 19 April 2010 Niall has concluded his first Firestone Indy Lights street race with a charging drive from 17th on the grid to finish the day in 9th position, claiming his first Firestone Indy Lights Top-10 in the process. In a race littered with cautions the young Irishman picked off his opposition to progress 8 positions and claim the Force For Earth Hard Charger Award. It was not all plain sailing however, as Niall became involved in a late race accident between two cars in front, dropping two places with a spin at the fountain. He wasted no time in retaking the positions however, passing the #5 and #4 Andersen Racing cars on the first lap of the final restart with 3 laps to go.
