Extractions: Notes on Linear Algebra Lee Lady Mostly there are two themes in this collection of short hand-outs. First, that rather than think of an m by n matrix as a doubly-indexed array, it is often more enlightening to think of it as a n-tuple of columns (which are, of course, m-vectors) or an m-tuple of rows. And secondly, that once one understands the method of solving systems of equations by elimination, essentially one knows the whole of the linear algebra covered in this (very stripped-down) course. Everything else, except for eigenvectors and eigenvalues, is just a matter of constantly restating the same facts in different language. A lot of the files listed below are in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format. Alternate versions are in DVI format (produced by TeX; see see here for a DVI viewer provided by John P. Costella ) and postscript format (viewable with ghostscript .) Some systems may have some problem with certain of the documents in dvi format, because they use a few German letters from a font that may not be available on some systems. Hobbies: I love hanging out with my friends and family and doing different things. I am outdoors person in the fact that I love fishing, hunting, and riding four wheelers, but I also like to shop. I have a 15 year old younger brother who plays my favorite sport, baseball. As well as enjoying baseball, football is my other favorite sport.

CLUCalc interprets a script language called �CLUScript�, which has been designed to make mathematical calculations and visualisations very intuitive. Currently CLUViz 6.1 is only available for Windows XP/Vista/7. The file you download installs CLUViz 6.1 on your machine when you execute it. The software package comes with a manual and many examples. Latest version (06.09.2010) is 6.1.36. *CLUViz is free for non-commercial use. CLUCalc 4.3.3 Windows Binary Linux Source My book on Geometric Algebra has been available at Springer since December 2008. Here you can download a set of CLUScripts that visualize various figures from the book. This allows you to interact with the visualizations directly and look at 3D figures from any perspective you want. The new version of CLUCalc is contained in the visualization suite CLUViz. CLUViz separates the visualization engine from the CLUScript editor CLUCalc. In this way you can now use the visualization power of CLUCalc from within you own C++ and C# programs. The CLUViz distribution also includes the editor CLUCalc. CLUCalc v4.3.3 is still available as binaries and source code. CLUViz 6.1 is only available as Windows binary, so far.
