Power Point Slides COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is designed to prepare students for the initial stage of teaching by developing an understanding of the nature, organization, and administration of business programs in the middle and secondary schools. It develops an understanding of and skill in using instructional materials, methods, and techniques for planning and directing learning activities in business classes. (3 hrs.) The course is designed for senior students before they enroll in EDUC 456, Supervised Directed Teaching. Materials are designed to provide mastery of the performance-based system for teaching business education, used in WV. Therefore, the student will possess the skills to actively participate in the management of his/her classroom while complying with regulations issued at the state level of school governance.
