In order to begin operating a computer keyboard, students must be able to isolate their index finger. Although this may seem like a simple task to most adults, young children haven't had much call for developing it. Prepare a worksheet for students consisting of various colored circles. Ask the students to use their index finger to touch the blue circle, then the red, then the green. Next, ask them to touch more than one color in a sequence; like, blue, red, yellow.
