Here are a few tips to get you started: 1)     If you have students who are pre-schoolers, you can use picture books and finger puppets. Have a wide variety of picture books on hand, with many different characters and scenery. The children can look through the books, and predict what will happen next, or create different stories based on the pictures they see. They could also act out the stories using finger puppets. Encourage your younger students to cut pictures out of magazines and bring them to class; then come up with a story based on the pictures. 2)     Older children who can read and write will enjoy working together to write a story. Each student will write one word or one sentence in a journal. As the journal gets passed around from student to student, they will eventually end up with a completed story. They will have fun coming up with crazy and silly stories!
