Extractions: While the cookie sale is our primary product sale for troops, we offer the fall nut sale as an opportunity for those troops that would like to earn additional money and support the council. All girls are encouraged to participate in the cookie sale - the fall nut sale is a choice for troops. Candy and nuts, anyone? The Fall Product Sale will feature twelve fresh, quality products such as whole cashews, chocolate-covered raisins, peanuts, fruit slices, and a special tin full of mint trefoils. All products come from Trophy Nut Company, a local company headquartered in Tipp City, Ohio, that has been working with Girl Scouts since 1992. The 2008 theme “Express Yourself (through the Arts)” is designed to encourage girls to explore their creative side and take the lead in expressing themselves to the world. Every troop will receive a fall product sale activity containing age-level activity sheets that will help girls explore the theme while also completing Girl Scout badge work. In addition, the packet contains other resources to help troops in conducting a successful Fall Product Sale.
