The research team undertakes laboratory and field projects, including rural solar electrification, solar-electric vehicles, photovoltaic-assisted lighting, building on-site thermal efficiency test methods, solar design tools, solar resource databases, and PV battery testing. A few key projects include: Photovoltaic systems for rural electrification in India, Sri Lanka, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
