Extractions: Say YES! to Youth Success - This Fall, the Lake County After School Coalition and several Barrington area communities, including North Barrington, participated in a Lake County-wide campaign to Say YES! to Youth Success - the campaign recognizes youth who strive to succeed in unique ways. The greater Barrington area nominated middle and high school students doing good works. The students were highlighted to the community in the news, by local leaders, and at a special party held October 16th. Congratulations to all of the outstanding students! 2010 Road Maintenance Program - Geske and Sons, Inc. will begin construction on Monday, October 4th. The following streets will be overlayed as part of this year's road maintenance program: Honey Lake Road (Signal Hill Rd. to 255' south of Old Oak Rd.), Ravine Lane (Timber Lake Dr. to north end), Ravine Ct. (Ravine Ln. to west end), Castleview Ct. (Biltmore Dr. to Signal Hill Rd.), North Hill Dr. (Biltmore Dr. to Rustic Ln.), and Homewood Dr. (Miller Rd. to south end). Construction will include drainage improvements, pavement patching and resurfacing. At no time will any roadway be closed. Completion is anticipated for October 22nd.
