The ZX Plus Home Page Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K and 128K emulator written for Windows 95 / 98 using Direct X. http://www.emuunlim.com/zxplus/
Extractions: About ZX Plus is a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K and 128K emulator written for Windows 95 / 98 using Direct X. It is programmed in C++ and 32-bit Assembly. It is complied using Microsoft Visual C++ Version 5.0 with Direct X SDK 7.001 libraries. Eventually it will support other systems such as the Sega Master System and Nintendo Gameboy / Colour Gameboy. We have written this emulator because we are interested in emulation and wanted to contribute to the emulation scene. We thought the Spectrum would be a reasonably easy choice for a first emulator. We also wanted to see if we could write one. We have tried to make ZX Plus easy to use and the most visually stunning Spectrum emulator around. The current Z80 emulation still has bugs in it which we are attempting to fix. A lot of games work perfectly (or so we think) including Aufmonty, Batty, Underwurlde, Manic Miner, Bruce Lee, and Joeblade 3.

Special thanks to Gerton Lunter, who has collected a great amount of Z80 and ZX Spectrum specialities which only Z80 emulator programmers must know about. The C coded Z80 engine was developed using Marat Fayzullin's fMSX engine. Though i've modified nearly everything, some ideas, enumerations, macro names and flag handling have survived. Furthermore i'd like to thank Fabrizio Oddone for his help to prevent Powerbooks going to sleep;

All original I/O is emulated. There is no focus on adding emulation for hardware extensions like floppy or hard drives, video cards etc. One exception is made: Native File Access allows access to the DOS/Linux file system. With these hardware components emulated, all original QL/QDOS software can be executed on QLAY. Newer QDOS versions are thus supported as long as they run fine on the original QL hardware. QLAY manual updates (19990130) New in 0.90 (19990130): "Double mouse" pointers solved, use F12. And,
Vb81's Homepage Sinclair ZX81 emulator written in VisualBasic. Runs under Windows on a 133MHz Pentium or better. Includes source. http://freestuff.grok.co.uk/vb81/
Extractions: Grok Developments Ltd vb81 - Sinclair ZX81 Emulator Hot on the heels of the Speccy emulator, is an emulation of the Spectrum's older brother, the ZX81. It uses the same VB core as vbSpec, but due to differences in the display hardware and processor speed of the ZX81, this will run happily at full speed on just about any PC that is capable of running Windows at a usable speed. NOTE: I haven't updated vb81 in quite some time, however there is a great new version of vb81 by XavSnap which includes additional features such as an integrated disassembler and support for additional hardware such as the Larken disk controller and both the Memotech and G007 high-resolution graphics cards. It is available from http://zx81.vb81.free.fr/ and is well worth a look! Features in vb81 Version 1.30

To discuss this with complete and unguarded frankness - and I should not insult you by being otherwise than completely honest, however indiscreet - it will be necessary for me to be a little impolite regarding certain institutions and persons of my own greatly beloved land. But I beg of you to believe that I am in no case gratifying a grudge. Fortune has dealt with me rather too well. I have known little struggle, not much poverty, many generosities. Now and then I have, for my books or myself, been somewhat warmly denounced - there was one good pastor in California who upon reading my

Until I went East to Yale University I attended the ordinary public school, along with many Madsens, Olesons, Nelsons, Hedins, Larsons. Doubtless it was because of this that I made the hero of my second book, The Trail of the Hawk , a Norwegian, and Gustaf Sondelius, of Arrowsmith , a Swede - and to me, Dr. Sondelius is the favorite among all my characters.

I call it Pickle Project: Seed to Sandwich. The idea was to make my own pickles, and I thought it would be fun to combine the cooking / pickling elements with some basic gardening. I'm a basic gardener. The project began with a gift I received for Christmas a couple years ago, the EarthBox gardening system . I can't recommend this enough to the novice gardner. It's a planting box with a false bottom. The false bottom allows you to fill up a chamber of water under the soil and keep the soil moist without fear of overwatering. It's simple, but it worked really well. I got some cucumber seeds from Burpee and planted them indoors in a seed starter. This picture was taken on day 7 of the project. The seeds had sprouted and were looking healthy.
