Extractions: Our goal is to advance chemical measurements both to discover new science and facilitate technology. We interact across disciplines, bringing people together who are curious about data with those who have new ideas on how to obtain it. We will work across the landscape of materials, life sciences and our environment, recognizing that a broad view fosters unanticipated synergies. We believe that teaching and research are one and the same. The purpose of both is learning. analytical chemistry program is widely held to be the top graduate program in the United States. With fourteen faculty members and over 110 graduate and undergraduate students, our program is one of the largest in the world. Analytical Chemistry - Ethylene Oxide - Sterilization Our STS Life Sciences Division provides the medical device and pharmaceutical industries with comprehensive sterilization, validation, and laboratory services. http://www.stsduotek.com/chemistry.html
Extractions: Ethox STS offers customized and standard analytical chemistry testing for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Our Analytical Chemistry department is housed in a newly designed facility with state-of-the-art testing equipment, featuring an environmentally controlled suite and Class 100 laminar flow hoods. Visit our typical Analytical Chemistry Tests page our focus Ethox STS takes great pride in being at the forefront of the ongoing continuing worldwide efforts to standardize ethylene oxide residual testing. Knowledge of the proper ways to process samples ensures reliable results, prompt turnaround, and cost savings. Examination of a device before testing is critical in deciding how the testing is to be conducted (i.e. what parts to extract, duration of patient exposure, applicable regulatory limits). Preliminary testing to identify any problems that could occur during actual testing is also conducted. This includes device dissection (if necessary), extraction procedure, and determination of any potential interfering substances which can cause erroneous (generally, "higher") residual values. Once these factors are understood, a an Ethox proposal for the analysis of your product is developed for your review and approval.

Extractions: NUS Home Search: in NUS Websites Internet Staff Directory Advanced Search Home Undergraduates Updated on 27 Feb 2006 Emphasising and exploiting the radial connections of Chemistry in general and Analytical Chemistry in particular, with most other Sciences, the Department offers a minor which comprises modules related to the theory and practical aspects of modern analytical techniques used widely in the petrochemical, fine chemical, polymer, pharmaceutical, environmental, electronic and materials industries as well as research laboratories. The Analytical Chemistry minor is especially useful to Biological Sciences, Materials Science and Physics graduates who will thus be suitably trained in essential aspects of analytical science. This training will stand such graduates in good stead when they seek employment, specifically giving them an edge in terms of employability over their more specialised counterparts. This minor is not awarded with the Chemistry major, the Applied Chemistry major, and the Concentration in Economics and Analytical Chemistry.
