CUYAHOGA ASTRONOMICAL ASSOCIATION The Cuyahoga Astronomical Association is an amateur astronomy club, established in 1957. Our club is open to the public to people with an interest and desire to learn more about astronomy. Our membership ranges from junior high school students to senior citizens. We hold a general meeting on the Second Monday of each Month at 8 PM in the Cleveland Metroparks' Rocky River Nature Center, located 1/4-mile north of Cedar Point Road on the Valley Parkway in North Olmsted, Ohio. Information on monthly meetings, scheduled talks and current events can be found in the CAA newsletter, The Observer Public Programs and Star Parties are open to the general public and are usually held at at one of three sites in the Cleveland Metroparks, Brecksville Road, Bradley Woods or Lewis Road. Programs in Medina County are usually held at Letha House Park. Private Star Parties are open to CAA members and their guests. These observing sessions are usually held at Medina County's Letha House Park. The CAA observatory is located at Letha House Park (Medina County Park) in Spencer, Ohio. The observatory was dedicated in the Summer 2001.
