An Introduction to Radio Astronomy - Burke and Graham-Smith
Sun, 24/10/2010 - 23:16 — Editor Compared to some books this is a fairly heavy tome, is certainly not for the faint hearted and is clearly aimed at academic it is still an accessible read for those more used to dummies-type guides. It contains some maths, but you don't need to understand the maths to understand the scientific concepts and insight into radio astronomy that is covered elsewhere throughout the book. Being a relatively recent publication the book is update with the latest understanding in the field of radio astronomy as well as providing a comprehensive overview of the current techniques and practices.
    Spying Comet 103/P Hartley 2
