The program, which airs Thursday, March 29 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT and Sunday, April 1 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2, also features a retrospective of the work of visual artist Marvin Finn, an interview with sports entertainment industry executive Diane McGraw and a profile of the Louisville Zoo. Candyce Clifft hosts. First, Candyce spends some time with heartland rocker John Mellencamp, whose hits such as "Small Town," "Jack and Diane," "Pink Houses," and "Crumblin' Down" established him as one of the leading rock 'n' roll acts of the 1980s and '90s. His success continues to the present day with his latest hit song, "Our Country." In this interview, Mellencamp talks about his new album, his decision to allow Chevrolet to use his music for advertising, his aspirations to become a painter and his ongoing quest to write the perfect song.
