He was 29 years old and collapsed nd died while shooting baskets at Brandeis University gym. He had had two previous dizzy and fainting spells on March 24, 1993 and on April 29, 1993, and two doctors had diagnosed cardiomyopathy. One doctor delivered a more hopeful diagnosis, of neurocardiogenic syncope, a less dangerous condition. Each of four doctors consulted had a slightly different diagnosis and recommendation. I like my top 5 starters though, and Forte. Yeah, I grabbed V-Jack as my late round sleeper. He should be able to pick on the Chiefs second corner and Deangelo Hall twice, being 6'5. Reggie Bush was dropping into the fourth round both times, so I had to grab him. Also, I hate having the first overall pick. =/ 08-26-2008, 01:39 PM

Records (acronym for Sound of Los Angeles Records ) was an American record label founded in 1977 by Dick Griffey , reconstituted out of Soul Train Records only two years after it was founded with Soul Train television show host and creator Don Cornelius . After the success of a few singles and albums on the Soul Train imprint, Griffey and Cornelius decided (amicably) to shut it down as Cornelius wanted to focus his energies on the television show, which was a monster hit and required his full attention to keep it so. Legalities now taken care of, Griffey reorganized Soul Train Records and folded the company into the newly-founded SOLAR label in late 1977, which quickly became one of the most important disco , and dance music imprints of the late 1970s and 1980s. It even spawned a subsidiary label, Constellation Records, which had some success spinning off its parent's successes. Griffey and Cornelius remained good friends, and as a result, SOLAR maintained close ties to the

NBA Statistics Other Resources The 6-foot-7, 195-pound Lewis starred at Northeastern University in Boston, averaging 22.2 points a game in four years as a starter. He was chosen in the first round of the 1987 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He missed a good part of his rookie season with an injury and was a backup during the next two seasons, but averaged over 30 minutes a game because he could be used at small forward or shooting guard. Very quick, Lewis could score by driving to the basket or by shooting from outside. Lewis became a starter in 1990-91, when Larry Bird was out much of the year with an injury, and he was named the team's captain after Bird's retirement in 1992. He averaged 20.8 points a game in both 1991-92 and 1992-93. In Boston's first game of the 1993 playoffs, Lewis collapsed and had to be taken to a hospital. Displeased when a team of doctors told him he would have to give up basketball because of a heart disease, Lewis changed hospitals and doctors in the middle of the night. He was then advised that his heart was healthy and that he could begin training again, under medical supervision. He died of a heart attack while taking part in an unsupervised workout.
