[Rohde, M.: Bb5] Avoiding Zsuzsa's expertise in the Sveshnikov and Taimanov variations. Judit also plays the Taimanov as Black, although she exclusively uses the 2 ... e6 move order. This is the standard follow-up to 3 ... e6. A strong move which has been long overlooked. The idea is to develop a Ruy Lopez pawn center with d2-d4 and let the bishop drop back to c2; Black's awkwardly placed minors might then give her problems. The old move is 5 b3, trying to utilize the long diagonal. Then Black's best is probably 5 ... Nd4! 6 Nxd4 cxd4 7 Bb2 a6! (Better than 7 ... Nc6 8 c3 Bc5 9 Qh5.) 8 Bd3 Nc6 with equality. A sharper alternative, inviting White to complete her plan, is, after 5 b3, 5 ... a6 6 Bxc6 Nxc6 7 Bb2 b5 8 d4 cxd4 9 Nxd4 Bb7 or 9 ... Qf6!?

Susan Polgar (born April 19, 1969, as Polgár Zsuzsanna and often known as Zsuzsa Polgár ) is a Hungarian-American chess player. She is also a chess writer and promoter and the head of the Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence at Texas Tech University . 2007. április 2., hétfő 08:16 Polgár Zsuzsa olimpiai- és világbajnokunk manapság gyermeket nevel és sakkiskolát vezet. Dr. Laufer Gábor, a Velvet New Yorkban élő (sakkrajongó) nőgyógyász-szakértője készített telefoninterjút a szomszédságában lakó sakkfenoménnal.
Zsuzsa, mesélj magadról. Hol élsz most?
12 éve Forest Hills-ben (New York) élek, itt van Polgar Chess Center nevű privát sakk klubom is. Van gyermek és felnőtt szakosztálya, különböző szintű versenyeket rendezünk. Sakkboltom New York legszélesebb választékkal rendelkező sakk-könyvesboltja: DVD-k, sakk-programok és minden egyéb, ami a sakkal kapcsolatos.

Susan Polgar
(Redirected from Zsuzsa Polgar Zsuzsa Polgr (born April 19 in Budapest Hungary ), is among the strongest female chess players in history. She currently lives in the United States and has Anglicized her name to Susan Polgar Along with her two younger sisters , she was coached in chess by her father, Laszlo Polgar . Despite restrictions on her freedom to play in international tournaments, by Zsuzsa had become the top-rated female chess player in the world. Unfortunately, in November of that year FIDE decided to grant 100 bonus ELO rating points to all active female players except her, knocking her out of the top spot in the January, ratings list. The rationale was that Polgar had earned her rating primarily playing against men, whereas other female chess players had deflated ratings from playing in women-only tournaments. The statistical evidence supporting this decision was highly suspect because the data on which it was based was a small subset of the available data. No similar interference with ratings has occurred since.
