Richard Huelsenbeck April 23 April 30 ) was a poet writer and drummer born in Frankenau , Germany . He emigrated to Zurich Switzerland in February , where he fell in with the Cabaret Voltaire . Edited the "Dada Almanach" in Berlin in 1920 and wrote "En Avant Dada," a history of dadaism. in the same year. The author of numerous other dada publications.     Huelsenbeck, Richard
    23.4.1892 Frankenau (Assia), Dada ; recitò le sue poesie dadaiste con accompagnamento di tamburi nel Cabaret Voltaire. Dopo il suo ritorno a Berlino, nel 1917 diede vita, fra gli altri con Raoul Hausmann, al movimento dadaista berlinese. Nel 1918 redasse il manifesto dadaista, firmato da quasi tutti gli esponenti zurighesi e berlinesi del movimento. Dal 1923 al 1933 fu in primo luogo attivo quale pubblicista (spec. lirica, saggi, racconti di viaggio) e medico di bordo. Nel 1936 emigrò negli Stati Uniti, dove accanto all'attività artistica lavorò soprattutto come psichiatra e psicoanalista. Dal 1970 visse di nuovo in Svizzera.
