Acupuncture works with the natural rhythms of the body to restore health in a balanced yet timely manner. Acupressure is an ancient healing art. It facilitates the body’s ability to heal itself. Acupressure works with the energy of the body through points and meridian pathways. It can clear blockages that are being held in the body and influence health and well-being.
Acupressure works with the same points as Acupuncture, but instead of needles, subtle finger pressure is applied to the points. As the practitioner holds these points, it allows the release of muscular tension and promotes the circulation of blood. This awakens the body’s life force to aid in its own healing. Unlike Acupuncture, the practitioner is present in the room during the entire session, holding space for the client.

Regular exercise of the Western-type is good for the body, while that of the Asian-type is focused on Vital Energy (Ki in Japanese and Qi in Chinese). Through Asian exercises such as Qigong, the Makko Ho (also known as Meridian Exercises or Zen Imagery Exercises) and Yoga, Ki is developed and the flow of Ki throughout the body is encouraged. At the same time, the physical structure is stretched and strengthened. Finally, some Asian exercises elevate the heart rate, with aerobic and anaerobic training effects. • 93. Denver Massage - Chinese Massage And Acupuncture In Denver Colorado
Cherry Creek Chinese Massage offers authentic Chinese bodywork, including TuiNa, acupressure, and Oriental Medicine (herbs, Acupuncture) in Denver Colorado.
A Family Tradition of Chinese Massage and Acupuncture in Denver
Cherry Creek Chinese Massage is family owned and operated local business in Denver, Colorado. Kristy Ma began Cherry Creek Chinese Massage and Acupuncture in 2003, on the suggestion of acupuncturist friends already living in the Denver area. " Denver has a long tradition of massage and the healing arts ", they said, " and the people of Denver would appreciate authentic Chinese massage as a compliment to acupuncture, oriental and herbal medicine. " After relocating to Denver, Kristy found a warm reception and significant demand for TuiNa and Chinese massage. Shortly thereafter she recruited daughter Michelle Ma , also Chinese trained and U.S. certified in massage, who was on break from her acupuncture studies in China. As the people of Denver discover the benefits of Cherry Creek Chinese Massage, we continued to staff our clinics with genuine Chinese trained and properly certified massage therapists to meet the needs. Kristy Ma and her family have enjoyed meeting and massaging Denver's friendly residents continuously since opening day, receiving praise from clients and professional associates alike. In fact, interest in Chinese TuiNa massage in Denver has grown so much since Cherry Creek Chinese Massage opened its doors, one long time friend and Colorado resident has now opened a school of Chinese massage in Denver.

    Dream sleep aid
The points acupressurists recommend for sleep and relaxation are found not only on the wrist but other places as well. If you can get in the habit of adapting a easy to learn but effective routine every night before bed you may find that your sleep improves. The only investment you will need to make is the time it takes to learn the routine and then apply it. There are several reasons why a person may have trouble sleeping. A major cause is the inability to stop thinking. Overthinking makes it difficult to get in the proper mood for sleep. Another cause is food stagnation resulting from overeating or eating inappropriately. We need to finish eating in a timely manner so that our stomach has time to digest the food before we begin our sleep ritual. Lack of a proper routine is another reason why we have difficulty falling asleep. We have to train our bodies when is the appropriate time to sleep and stick to the routine. Oddly enough, lack of circulation can make it difficult to sleep peacefully through the night.

About Brandon Raynor's School of Natural Therapies
    History in Brief:

Whilst traveling around the world and learning massage under different masters of Hawaiian, Indian, Thai, Chinese and Japanese origin, I witnessed various outstanding accounts of people being fixed of serious health problems and physical injuries with a wholistic and deep massage that was not being provided in the western world. I began to feel a great passion to learn as much as possible about the full healing potential of massage and return to Australia to help introduce this much deeper approach to massage that can fix people of years of built up tension and problems by invoking deep emotional and physical release.
Originally I began my study of massage in 1990 in Australia, and undertook all the required courses and study hours to receive my massage diploma in 1991 but at that time unfortunately I had never been taught or could find any one that knew how to massage or teach massage beyond a feel good rub that at best only temporarily eased sore muscles.
After practicing and receiving massage from practitioners and teachers around Australia and the rest of the world, in 1998 in Sydney I began practicing the unique powerful type of massage I since refer to as the "Raynor Technique". Before long I was heavily booked out and within a year, started the school BRSNT, as many of my patients were eager to know how to learn this massage that they often claimed made them feel the best they'd felt in years.
