As of January 1, 2011 an Individual application will be required to receive recommended funds. "Why do I have to provide household income information to receive a recommended scholarship?" Please click here for the answer. The question came to us regarding whether or not folks could swap up until January 1st. The answer is NO! Swapping has never been “legal” but because of the confusion – the legislature had to take a more firm stand on this habit. To swap violates the part of the law that says that the donation may not benefit your child. We can’t sanction skirting the law. Please, do not engage in this practice!
