http://uacoe.arizona.edu/vi/Institutional_recommendation.htm
Institutional Recommendation for Arizona Teacher Certification If you have finished the complete teacher preparation program in visual impairment through a Master’s degree or post-Master’s certification, you can request an Institutional Recommendation through the University. Institutional Recommendation paperwork is processed through the Student Services Office in the College of Education and helps make the state teacher certification process go more quickly and easily. Fee payable to the Arizona Department of Education through Institutional Recommendation is $30. The Institutional Recommendation Application for Certification is available from Letty Gutierrez, Room 247, Education Building. Ms. Gutierrez can be reached at 520-621-7865 or via e-mail at olgutier@email.arizona.edu Arizona Department of Education Transcript Review and Certification Some students prefer to go to the Department of Education for transcript review, especially if they need their teaching certification before they have finished the entire Master’s degree. You will need to pay $60 to do this rather than $30. If you prefer this method, you can follow the instructions for certification evaluation at the Arizona Department of Education website at http://www.ade.state.az.us/certification
