The training under the USAID "Readiness to Respond" program enabled the Community Disaster Response Teams (CDRT) to take quick action. U.S. Embassy Donates Supplies Charge d’Affaires Brent Hardt hands over $19,000 BDS of emergency supplies to the Barbados Department of Emergency Management. The donation included generators, tools, wheelbarrows, lights, and other potentially lifesaving supplies. Yasmine Walcott - IVLP participant St. Lucian Yasmine Walcott, a Project Officer with Caribbean Association for Feminist Research and Action (CAFRA), will be participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program - 'American Youth: Inspiring Leadership and Civic Participation' during the period October 25 - November 12, 2010.
