Given this, the only problem with bearded track and lizards may be their sometimes peculiar habits and their diet. Feeding a Bearded Dragon Lizard can be a pain sometimes. This is because of their unique diet. Bearded Dragon Lizards are omnivores, meaning they will eat pretty much anything. However, in the wild these lizards will feast on various vegetation, worms, grasshoppers and insects. They will also go for small animals such as mice and other tiny creatures. If you plan to keep the Bearded Dragon Lizard in your home, you at least have to know its diet and the methods of feeding them. Without this knowledge, you will never be able to properly care for the pet. Fortunately, most pet stores have supplies you will need to feed your little lizard friend.

Bearded dragons ( Pogona Vitticeps ) are lovable creatures and can be good as first reptile pets. Native to Australia, bearded dragons are named for their puffed-out blackish beard that appears when they are threatened. Bearded dragons are omnivorous and consume insects, worms, and assorted veggies. Being thermoregulators, they must bask under the sun to increase their body temperatures during the day. The heat allows them to digest their food, and the UV radiation allows them to produce vitamin D, aiding in the absorption of calcium.
