The discussion page may contain suggestions. (April 2010) In computing x86 virtualization is the facility that allows multiple operating systems to run simultaneously on an computer in a safe and efficient manner, a facility generically known as hardware virtualization . In the late 1990s, x86 virtualization, previously thought impractical, was achieved by complex software techniques first introduced in VMware 's products, which overcame the platform's hard-to-virtualize peculiarities, yet managed to attain reasonable performance. In the mid 2000s, both Intel and AMD added hardware support to their processors that first made the virtualization software simpler to write (with the 1st generation hardware assist), and later provided substantial speed improvements (2nd generation hardware assist).

I just changed the power supply from an older (generic) to a newer one
(Sparkle) and now on bootup I get the consistent error "Hardware
Monitor has encountered an error press F1 to Continue or Del to view
    details under Power."
Voltage. I can select ignore for this setting and the error does not
come up during bootup. My only concern is that whether or not I should
be worried about this value/error ?
    Thanks in advance
