BONSAI - Trees and Plants.
- Bonsai is the art of aesthetic miniaturization of trees by growing them in containers. Cultivation includes techniques for shaping, watering, and repotting in various styles of containers. - Originating in China during the Han Dynasty, 'bonsai' is a Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese word penzai . The word bonsai has been used in the West as an umbrella term for all miniature trees. - In Japanese, bonsai can be literally translated as 'tray planting' but since originating in Asia, so many centuries ago - it has developed into a whole new form. To begin with, the tree and the pot form a single harmonious unit where the shape, texture and colour of one, compliments the other. Then the tree must be shaped. - It is not enough just to plant a tree in a pot and allow nature to take its course - the result would look nothing like a tree and would look very short-lived. Every branch and twig of a bonsai is shaped or eliminated until the chosen image is achieved. From then on, the image is maintained and improved by a constant regime of pruning and trimming. - It is the art of dwarfing trees or plants and developing them into an aesthetically appealing shape by growing, pruning and training them in containers according to prescribed techniques.

A miniature tree may seem to be the perfect gift for that hard to buy individual on your gift list, but growing bonsai for beginners is more involved than for the typical houseplant.
Bonsai is a creative art form that involves using regular, full sized plants that are grown and maintained in specialized methods that result in the plant growing in only miniature size. This tiny version of a natural tree that in nature normally grows to heights of 15 to 20 feet can be pruned and manicured to only reach about a foot in height. Even in its diminutive size, the tree is a perfect replica of a natural tree; branching out and leafing out just as it wood in its natural habitat. Department and specialty stores often offer these trees at the holiday season as exotic and unique gifts. Their beauty and one of a kind appearance may seem to many to be the perfect gift for the person on their gift list that has everything, but for the success of the plant, it is imperative that bonsai, for beginners in particular, be understood for the intricate art form that it is. Bonsai masters have striven for years to develop this creative art into the specialty that it is now.

BONSAI PLANTS
Bonsai Plants and Bonsai Plants care
Bonsai plants are a much desired variety of plants. They originated from the Japanese world and have been famous as their traditional plants. Hence, bonsai is spiritual for them. The Bonsai plants are beautiful and can be shaped and sized into various figurines. These Bonsai shapes and pruning help the bonsai plant to grow in an aesthetic and artistic fashion. This pattern is particularly liked and appreciated by the people who have a bonsai crush in their hearts. Bonsai is an art form of horticulture that is purely based on aestheticism. The bonsai shrub that grows at the initial stage needs to be groomed and pruned in order to become a bonsai plant. Watering is an important aspect of the growing plant. When the soil around the plant begins to dry out, water must be provided in the next minute to keep the plant healthy. Any bonsai expert will tell you not to wait for the soil to dry out totally before the next watering. This should be the way in case you are growing a pretty normal bonsai variety. There are other varieties of Bonsai plants that can grow up in desert conditions as well. Hence, normal bonsai varieties need this water and care. Potting is an important aspect of the growing plant and a spacious, matching and an apt pot with the necessary drainage system must be provided for the growing plant. As you will notice, some varieties have large and far growing branches while others may differ. Usually bonsai plants are a bit short, probably a feet in height. In case you are considering the idea of growing the bonsai plant indoors, you need to take it out into the sunlight in summers for about 5 hours in order to expose it to natural sunshine. Those planted outdoors must not be exposed to harsh light. Harsh light can damage the plant and make it unhealthy.

Bonsai plants
Bonsai plants are small, beautiful trees that carry a history of tradition along with them. They are planted as ordinary trees but later they are cut down to small size. Bonsai plants require proper care and nurture. Their soil and water needs have to be monitored. There is a proper schedule for watering indoor bonsai plants. It is fundamental that you soak the plant once or thrice a week. Daily misting is essential. You should also expose the plant indirectly to bright sunlight. You should prune, feed and repot the plant at regular intervals. There are three elements that your bonsai plant needs. These are sunlight, water and food. First of all, let us discuss about sunlight. Sunlight is fundamental to a bonsai plant’s growth. In case of an indoor bonsai plant, place it in indirect sunlight for five hours. You can take it out during spring and winter months for a waft of fresh light but do not place it in direct sunlight. In case of an outdoor bonsai plant, remember to protect them from heat. They mostly get their heat during the mornings. But large plants like the junipers and pines require direct heat for a longer time. Now let’s come to the watering part. Immerse the indoor plants in water, but do not immerse them fully. Just immerse up to the first branch. Bubbles will come up. If the bubbles are few in number, then realize the fact that you don’t need to water the plant for quite some time. When you water always check that the soil should dry a little but not completely. But outdoor bonsai plants require daily watering.

Unusual Bonsai Plant Choices Are you seeking for something more audacious in the art of bonsai plant gardening? If ever so, you need not attach with the more conventional deciduous, coniferous, or sporadic fruit trees as the just items in your collected works. Your preferences could vary to the more out of the ordinary varieties which would help develop your skills. If ever you love aromatic flowers, a brilliant alternative is Orange Jasmine which creates a brilliant red fruit and aromatic white blooms, carrying both pleasure to the nose and attractiveness to the eye.  Beginning in early spring and enduring throughout mid-autumn, feed Orange Jasmine each 3-4 weeks. Apart from the hotter summer seasons when vaguely more water is required, just light watering is enough. Orange Jasmine is among the minority of bonsai that could be and almost certainly must be raised indoors given that it does better in sensible shade as well as filtered sun. An instance of an exotic selection is Wisteria, a native plant from Korea, Japan, and China that could reach over 30 feet in size into the wild. Not compliant to any of the conventional bonsai manners, Wisteria could make for an appealing challenge. With both aromatic and beautiful flowers that come in a diversity of colors, for example, pink, white, blue and purple, this flower could be an outstanding choice. Wisteria blossoms in the spring at which instance they require lots of water yet with sufficient drainage. Wisterias do well in a wide variety of lighting states, from limited shade to complete sun. To uphold healthy plants, make sure to give them with plenty fertilizer just before they blossom in the spring and again in late summer before losing their leaves.
