Georgia Tech's systems research group is concerned with complex software/hardware systems: their development, their use, and the principles underlying both. Members of GT's systems group conduct research in the functional areas of information systems, distributed and parallel computing, computer security and dependability, programming languages and compilers, operating systems, performance evaluation, computer architecture, and networks; research results are evaluated with realistic applications from the domains of enterprise computing, multimedia and sensor systems, embedded and real-time systems, and high performance computing, including discrete event simulation. Notes are Wednesdays, 12:00-1:00, in KACB 1116W Architecture Reading Group meets Fridays 12-1:30 in KACB 1212 Contact Information Susie McClain KACB Room 3336 Voice: 404-385-1353 FAX: 404-385-2295 (located in KACB room 3336) E-mail: smcclain at cc.gatech.edu Mailing Address Susie McClain College of Computing Georgia Institute of Technology 266 Ferst Drive Atlanta, GA 30332-0765 | |
