Overview

Email is the most frequently used Internet tool, what computer geeks like to call a true "killer app " meaning someone might get on a computer just to use it. A good understanding of the basics of email use can improve student to student or worker to worker interaction. However, since email is only written text, without voice, eye, or body gestures to indicate nuances, miscommunication can occur. Using email netiquette can help avoid this.
