Forest Rohwer, Ph.D. is investigating CF lung-associated microbial and phage communities focusing on their sequencing and "community dynamics." Microbiological and microscopy techniques are being used to determine the growth rates of microbes in the CF lung, as well as frequency of phage infection under different treatment regimes using CF lung sputa.
