CFL Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs
People around the world are asking;
"How can I reduce my energy bill?"
"How can I combat Global Warming?"
"How do I reduce my dependence on fossil fuels?"
We'll show how to begin doing these things. And you can start today!
If you're not already using compact fluorescent lights, it could be as simple as screwing-in a new light bulb. Imagine eliminating the pollution of one million cars Yes, you can make a difference, if you really try. If every household in the U.S. replaced just ONE incandescent light bulb with an energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL), it would eliminate the equivalent of the emissions created by one million cars. And that's only one bulb per household! Most homes have 15-30 bulbs. Compact Fluorescents (CFL's) provide more light with less power. They typically require less than one-third the energy to produce the same amount of light, as common incandescent bulbs.

Energy Efficiency
China's energy productivity is well below the world average. In 2006, the country used 15 percent of global energy to achieve about 6 percent of global GDP. The Chinese government is determined to change that and now has one of the world's most aggressive energy efficiency programs, promising to reduce the country's energy use intensity by 20 percent between 2006 and 2010.
If successful, it will cut China's carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 1.5 billion tons annually. China's leaders have tied the job performance of provincial governors and the heads of China's top 1,000 energy-guzzling factories to their success in curbing energy use.
