The history of esperanto language
There are more than 3000 languages spoken around the world. Such abundance of languages is a great obstacle for people to communicate, due to this fact plenty of people consider it as an imprecation. Since the antique times peole tried to compose one language, neutral and easy to learn for everyone. Esperanto was developed out of many projects and finally applied in practice in 1887, when Dr. L. Zamenhof declared about its origin in Warsaw. The language is suitable not only for the scientific writings, but for the belles-lettres as well, as it is very clear, sonorous, logic and easy to learn. A few of simple Esperanto grammar rules should be compared with a great number of complicated ones of the various native languages. The difference would be amazing!
L. Zamenhof (1859-1917)

Overview of the Esperanto Language
A Polish oculist, Dr. Ludovic L. Zamenhof, created Esperanto in the hopes of helping the world solve its problems by communicating in a single, apolitical language. Originally, the language was designated "La Internacia Lingvo" (The International Language), but it quickly came to be called "Esperanto", meaning "the hopeful one". Dr. Zamenhof published the first textbook of this language (called "Unua Libro" or "First Book") in 1887. Esperanto Vocabulary and Esperanto Grammar When Dr. Zamenhof created Esperanto, he deliberately designed it as a blend of Romance language and Germanic language features, hoping that would encourage speakers of both types of languages to learn it. Esperanto vocabulary is drawn many European languages. Thus, English speakers may recognize a number of Esperanto words, such as varma "warm"
