International Studies Program Requirements Meet the Faculty Experiential Proposal Requirement Model United Nations ... Careers in International Studies I chose International Studies because I am very interested in foreign policy, government, and international relations. - Alex I chose INS because I've always had a foreign culture in my background because both of my grandparents are from Hungary. I've always wanted to serve the community in high school but never had the time. I took German in high school and found the culture and language fascinanting and easy to learn. I became intersted in Africa and began taking French junion year along with German and loved it. - Patrick I chose the INS major because I want to know what is going on in our world, but mostly to help make a change. - Katy I chose to major in International Studies because I am really interested in globalism and the idea that the world is becoming more inter-connected.- Lindsey What brought me to INS was my interest in the development of civil rights justice, human rights violations, and general workings of other governments and cultures. My long-term goal is to be an ambassador for the UN.- Molly I decided to major in International Studies because I'm very interested in other cultures and worldly affairs. I can't wait to study abroad and do some immersion trips. I would love to do an internship in Washington, D.C. Eventually, I would like to be working for the FBI. - Katy
