Rhode Island Massachusetts Top of the World – The Carpenters Officially, Freemasonry was born in 1717, when 4 Craft Lodges gathered at the Apple Tree Tavern in London, and set up a constitution for Free and Accepted Masons, written by Anderson... but they claim their roots can be traced to Egypt, Syria, Babylon... and the stonecutters of the Solomon Temple, specially "Hiram Abiff" (1R.7, 2Cr.2,4), a celebrated figure because of his death-defying refusal to reveal trade secrets to intruders... the "Jesus Christ" for many Masons... though it is "an irony", because the Temple of Solomon was not built with stones, but with wood, brought by another "Hiram", the King of Tyre (1R.5,9). - Source: www.religion-cults.com Powerless ship nearing San Diego harbor: 'There will be those who will say this has been the cruise from hell' The Carnival Splendor fiasco: Mysterious engine fire cripples cruise ship hosting magicians convention Catholic-sf.org: Living memories of Mexico’s anti-Catholic war

"The appellation 'Free and Accepted', recalling the Church of St. Paul, was retained in order to remove any suspicion as to the real aim of the infant Freemasonry, which has always been to work for the triumph of pure Gnosticism and liberal rationalism throughout the entire world. Under the name of Apprentice, Companions, and Masters, the army of pure Gnosticism set out to conquer the world. The duty of the Knight Rose-Croix is to combat the bastard Gnosticism inherent in Catholicism which blinds the eyes of faith. Freemasonry alone possesses the true religion, which is Gnosticism. All the other religions, and especially Catholicism, have taken what is true in their doctrines from Freemasonry. They possess only absurd or false theories." Book of Constitutions (1723) for the "Free and Accepted Masons" taken from a secret Freemasonic document entitled La Massoneria published in Florence, Italy in 1945 for circulation among the Lodges. a Freemasonry is the generic name given to a variety of occult groups accredited to the secret fraternal order of Free and Accepted Freemasons Freemasonry teaches that it evolved from the medieval guilds of stonemasons and cathedral builders, but continually hint at far older origins. The medieval guilds were fraternal societies of Gothic cathedral builders who were itinerant and moved freely about feudal Europe hawking their unique skills.

GRAND LODGE OF FREEMASONRY FOR MEN AND WOMEN Per Ardua ad Spiritus - Spiritus est qui Unificat The Website of the Grand Lodge of Freemasonry for Men and Women Great Britain The Grand Lodge of Freemasonry for Men and Women was Inaugurated on the 18 th February 2001, as a result of a need of an Order for Freemasonry freed from the dictates of other Obediences. These dictates precluded young Masons from reaching Grand Lodge level and as such assisting with the policies of the future. The Order was created especially to meet a need to provide a modern organisation in the Millennium; maintaining the ancient Landmarks and Principles of Freemasonry, alongside similar Masonic Orders in England, such as the singular masculine and women’s Masonic Orders. It was seen to be of paramount importance to very senior members who were the Founders of the Order, that it is essential that all members, whether in Great Britain or overseas, certify that they have a belief in a Supreme Being. The sharing of responsibilities of officering a lodge regardless of gender, race or creed brings a vibrant enthusiasm to common responsibilities of Officering a Lodge.

Freemasonry - Some Basics
Freemasonry is referred to by numerous names. Some of these names include: the Brotherhood, the Craft, the Order, and the Lodge. Blue Lodge (more formally known as Symbolic Lodge) consists of three degrees: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason. The three degrees are a progression with the goal being to become a Master Mason. Master Mason is the highest degree attainable in Symbolic Lodge. There are an additional 29 degrees in the Scottish Rite, and an additional 9 degrees in the York Rite. The 33rd degree is an honorary degree which cannot be sought. One has to be recommended for it. Various signs, tokens, and secrets are made known to the Mason as he graduates to higher levels or degrees. One of the most known symbols for Masonry is the letter "G." Depending on whose interpretation you believe, this symbol can represent geometry, God, or gnosis. Christians traditionally interpret the symbol as God, whereas others within the Order define it as knowledge or gnosis.
Encyclopedia of Freemasonry , 1946) As the Mason passes through the degrees of the Lodge, he receives true light, and is considered elevated above those who have not had the mysteries of Freemasonry revealed to them.

Freemasonry
The cult of liberty in the eighteenth century is intimately associated with Freemasonry. The political and social goal of Freemasonry was and still is to "free" man from the "tyranny" of the Catholic Church and from any civil authority which does not claim to be democratic. By definition, a church or a regime is tyrannical for the Freemason if it seeks to make dogmas or to rule without the consent of the governed.
The motive for fighting World War I, at least according to the Allied propaganda of the time, was to "free" the world from "Czardom" and "Kaiserdom." Wilson said that the reason why we had to enter the war against Germany was in order to "make the world safe for democracy."
One should not infer, however, from these comments that the regimes of the monarchies of nineteenth and early twentieth century Europe were by any means perfect. The Austrian Emperor, the Czar, and the Kaiser had all given the Church considerable difficulty, but certainly no more difficulty than the liberal, socialistic democracies of France and England. Italy too had persecuted the Church, and although then a monarchy like England, was nevertheless virtually democratic, its monarch very much in the hands of the Freemasons and other similar anti-catholic secret societies. It is merely to point out that Freemasonry has a hatred for any power, ecclesiastical or civil, which claims its authority from God, and which is not somehow dependent upon the people for its power.

Freemasonry is a politically powerful financial organization operating under the guise of an all encompassing religion generally open, at least at some levels, to everyone but atheists. Their goal is the domination of the world from a deistic perspective (deism - a movement or system of thought advocating natural religion, emphasizing morality, and in the 18th century denying the interference of the Creator with the laws of the universe. – Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary)

You can help by expanding it Freemasonry is a worldwide fraternal organization. Its members are joined together by high ideals, of both a moral and metaphysical nature (and, in the majority of branches, by a common belief in a Supreme Being). Freemasonry is an "esoteric art," in that certain aspects of its internal work are not generally revealed to the public. Masons give numerous reasons for this, one of which is that Freemasonry uses an initiatory system of degrees to explore ethical and philosophical issues, and this system is less effective if the observer knows beforehand what will happen. It often calls itself "a peculiar system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols." Table of contents showTocToggle("show","hide") 1 Membership

Freemasonry
Freemasonry is, according to its supporters, based on a philosophy of “the nature of the Creator, the origins of the universe, and humanity’s universal destiny.” [1] Allegorical symbols are used, if only because of the limitations of language. While most religious doctrines are designed to satisfy the basic needs of a general population, Freemasonry believes that a truer understanding of the nature of the Creator/Deity requires a long term commitment of study. Norman Williams Crabbe, in his essay of the “Fundamentals of Freemasonry” [1] claims that, “The Freemasonic initiate is put on the path of this study by being initiated into the fraternity of Masonry, a Westernized religious Mystery school. If the initiate studies the ritual, he will receive, proportionate to his ability to understand, deep mystic revelations regarding the nature of the universe and our mystic journey through it. Freemasonry keeps alive this knowledge from generation to generation until such time as it is understood and accepted by all beings.” Freemasonry is not without controversy the latter being one of the candidates for Most Outrageous Understatement Award (the famous “MOUA” pronounced “Moooooooo”).
