Frugal living strategies have helped me become debt free, retire early, stretch my dollars, be more self reliant, and enjoy financial freedom and peace of mind. If this sounds good to you, then this site is a good place for you to be. It has over 510 pages of quality material for your review and use. Welcome, my name is Clair Schwan. I’m here to offer you concepts and practical advice for living a frugal life and enjoying a debt free lifestyle. I'll also show you how to get out of debt and stay out of debt I've achieved financial freedom, and you can too. Being frugal is about thrifty living. It doesn’t mean you have to be a tightwad or cheapskate, but you could certainly make use of offerings such as rebates and coupons. The key is to understand the value of money . I'll show you key concepts about personal finance and money management that have helped me achieve financial freedom I am very comfortable with my financial condition now, but it wasn’t always that way. My good frugal decision-making helped me save up a small fortune over 15 years of work. Bad decision-making let it slip away in less than 3 years. Once I got back to wise money management and frugal living, I was able to get out of debt and recover a small fortune in only 7 years.

details to be announced So what IS Mom2MomList? Many things.......
We started out simply by providing a service of listing metro-Detroit area mom-to-mom resale events held by neighborhood churches, schools, and moms' clubs. At the time, there was about 20-30 sales each season. This year, we will help to advertise over 100 sales just in the spring sale season alone, and many more in the fall. You can find sale listings right here on our site, updated almost daily, or at any of the sales that we advertise on our " Pink Lists ". We have also grown into much more than an advertising service. We offer many new articles on a wide variety of topics, plus tips, quotes, recipes, and crafts every month for parents to enjoy with their children. And thanks to our wonderful members, we are very proud of the community of moms that have come together on our very active message boards. Our members buy & sell their items between sales, plan playdates together, enjoy moms' nights out, share advice and much-needed adult conversation, let off steam together, and so much more. We invite you to join us and become a part of our online family! To learn even more about us

Life takes you wherever you want it to go usually. For a large part of it you can be happy and content, then things change around you and it's not what you want it to be anymore. This sums up how I was feeling in 1999. I had a good secure job, well paid and I didn't have to worry too much about paying the Bills. Then, in six traumatic weeks, everything changed and it became apparent that taking away certain parts of my life, there wasn't much left. I took stock of the situation and decided I could only have the quality of life I wanted by changing it and making my destiny through my own means. Out went my Railway Management job and in came the self-reliant world. The last 10 years has taken me through Oddjobbing Gardening Work , earning a bit on the Web through Surveys and Mystery Shopping etc. Now I'm lucky enough to have a summer job of

  • So What is Frugal Living?
Doing what’s in your best interest, in the long run, is what’s really at the heart of frugality. This doesn’t always have to mean going without however. Take going to restaurants for example. Looking at restaurant trends reported over the last 50 years, shows an average annual increase of 20% in the restaurant industry. Most of the poll numbers I’ve seen, indicate that people today, are eating out on average, two or three times a week. If you’re trying to be frugal however, you might try to cut that down to once a month. Other ways of being frugal, include commuting by bicycle, learning how to prepare meals at home, learning how to repair things on your own, dumpster diving, and other kinds of self-reliance tasks.

Frugal Living Guide - - an Interview
From Lee Seats , former About.com Guide
    See More About:
zSB(3,3) I recently did an interview with Pat and I think you find her and her site fascinating as I certainly did. Q. What is your definition of frugal living? A. My definition of frugal living is taking conscious control of our individual resources and quality of life. Each of us make choices every day, and each choice changes our financial, emotional and physical situation to a degree. It's our responsibility to make the choices that allow us to live in the way we really want, not in the way we are told we want. Q. Is there a difference in frugal living and simple living? A. Yes, there is. Being frugal covers such an enormous territory that it can also be an anti-consumer, environmental, or a religious choice, among other things. While I realize that simple living can also encompass these things, frugal living is a means to an end, not the end itself, so that many people with many distinct goals use the principles for their own purposes. Simple living is an end in itself, so if you're not in agreement with the basic principle, it doesn't appeal to you. Q.
