I am seeking recommendations for books, interactive kits, USEFUL training programs, displaying RPGIV/RPGILE/SQL programs. My skills need refreshing and I have not been hands on for awhile.
I began on S38, migrated to AS400, designed/coded financial apps. in the backroom. Left career a few years ago - work no longer fun/challenging! Refocused to small business server/pc market as independent. Wide range of skills gained here.
My initial project is to extract data from POS files and dump to file for use in SQL server based marketing program. E-commerce sales to be merged in future. Basic programming to move records, however, I would like to see what is new with RPG.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Would also like to have conservations with anyone willing to share ideas and advice.
    Thank You,
Cheryl Igor Vaynerman 08-16-1999, 04:22 AM Cheryl
