The figure above, (click on it to see a larger version) shows how one may use the famous three-four-five triangle inscribed in a circle to construct the Golden Ratio. Of course this is not the most efficient construction in terms of the number of steps required, but it is interesting. It was discovered by Gabries Bosia. Halloween Inspirations
Vote Comment
laurief Oct 31, 2007 Halloween Inspirations from Lauren ArcherĀ and Positive Central
The best part of Halloween for me, is the opportunity to "try on" a totally different persona. Donning a costume and accessories, one can step into a role quite outside of one's ordinary reality, and "feel" what it's like to be someone else - if only for a little while. What if we had the freedom during the rest of the year to show up on any given day in a costume that suits the mood of our playful, inner child? Instead of conforming to the expectations of others, what if we could release the limitations of who we are "supposed to be," and claim the identity of whoever we decide to be? Imagine that for a moment! Who would you be? This Halloween, I invite you to consider in what ways you conform your identity to others' expectations, and in what ways you would express yourself more freely, if given the opportunity. Imagine what it might be like if you couldĀ erase your past, travel to a place where no one knows you, and reinvent yourself afresh. Who would you choose to be? What parts of yourself would you choose to express more fully?

As the 2 dimensional image on the pages falls open a 3rd dimension of space is produced, that of the void, that which represents what we cannot see and cannot know - the transcendent mystery source. When scholarship in Europe declined during the Dark Ages, priceless Hellenistic and other works of antiquity, including mathematics, were virtually lost to them, surviving only in the Christian Monastaries. When the Muslim Arabs conquered parts of Asia, Europe, and North Africa in the late 7th and early 8th centuries they'd developed few artistic traditions of their own, and only the simplest mathematics. But through their conquests they absorbed and modified elements of Byzantine, Coptic, and Persian art and mathematics, which took root in Islamic centers of learning and developed various ways. When India's second Mughal emperor, Humayun (reigned 1530-1540 and 1555-1556) was visiting Tabriz, Persia, in the Safavid court of Shah Tahmasp I, he was exposed to Persian miniature painting. Greatly impressed, he returned to India with two accomplished Persian artists, Sayyid Ali and Abdus Samad. Their works were assimilated with local styles, and during succeeding decades gave shape to a distinct style known as Mughal painting When Nadir Shah of Persia invaded the Indian plains in 1739, Hindu artists trained as Mughal miniature painters fled north to the

Introduction
Sacred Geometry is the blueprint of Creation and the genesis of all form. It is an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the precise way that the energy of Creation organizes itself. On every scale, every natural pattern of growth or movement conforms inevitably to one or more geometric shapes. As you enter the world of Sacred Geometry you begin to see as never before the wonderfully patterned beauty of Creation. The molecules of our DNA, the cornea of our eye, snow flakes, pine cones, flower petals, diamond crystals, the branching of trees, a nautilus shell, the star we spin around, the galaxy we spiral within, the air we breathe, and all life forms as we know them emerge out of timeless geometric codes. Viewing and contemplating these codes allow us to gaze directly at the lines on the face of deep wisdom and offers up a glimpse into the inner workings of the Universal Mind and the Universe itself. self -awareness.

About InnerTalkĀ® Technologies
Whole BrainĀ® InnerTalkĀ® Programs Whole BrainĀ® InnerTalkĀ® audio and video programs feature pleasant, easy-listening music or nature sounds that are specially mixed with positive background affirmations on the chosen self-help topic. InnerTalkĀ® audio programs are extremely easy to use. They are played in the background on any regular stereo cassette or CD player while the user is working, driving, relaxing, reading, playing sports, even sleeping or watching TV. They can also be used with a personal tape or CD player while jogging, bike riding or any other activity. No conscious thought or effort is required to produce dramatic, positive and automatic results. InnerTalkĀ® programs may appear to work like magic, but they're based on new scientific discoveries about how we learn and process information - and how this affects our everyday life. InnerTalkĀ® programs tap into our natural human ability to absorb information even when we're not thinking about it. On the surface, the programs sound like any other easy-listening music or nature programs you may have heard... but there is a powerful difference. Carefully blended in the background are dynamic affirmations such as 'I feel good,' 'I am successful,' etc., that make long-lasting, positive impressions.

Welcome to our website. We trust your visit is inspiring and enjoyable... Our business name developed by combining 'arco' from architecture - meaning to bow or arch - for us, to serve. Then 'essence' to get to the core or distinctive feature of something.
Two ideas we endeavour to achieve in our work.
The Arcoessence logo is derived from a logarithmic spiral, generated by golden mean geometry, this is repeated abundantly in nature. The spiral is contained in a circle, considered by the ancients as perfect geometry, a symbol of wholeness and completion. Our Logo therefore is a symbol of our design inspiration. For 30 years our goal has been to create harmonious living conditions, through a wholistic view of design and construction, while actively promoting of the occupants.
It is important to note that the wide range of styles demonstrated in our work reveals a versatility to satisfy clients desires, even though many say our 'thumbprint' remains evident!
Our strength is not to slavishly follow current styles or magazine trends.

Ikonos satellite image PBS NOVA has an Online Exploration of the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx with commentary by Mark Lehner and Zahi Hawass, who advocate an age of about 4,600 years for the Giza pyramids. Mark Lehner says "... we know ... the date of the pyramids ... mostly by context. The pyramids are surrounded by cemeteries of other tombs. ... we find organic materials ... that can be radiocarbon dated ... But primarily we date the pyramids by their position in the development of Egyptian architecture and material culture over the broad sweep of 3,000 years. ..." I agree with the dates of the materials found in the area of the Giza pyramids, but I do NOT agree that those materials, tombs, etc., are the materials, tombs, etc., of the builders of the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. In my opinion, the builders were either the Ice Age Civilization of 36,525 to 11,600 years ago, or, at the latest, a part of a global Early Human Civilization that broke up about 6,000 years ago, and that the Giza Sphinx and Pyramids were already built about 5,100 years ago when Menes reunited Lower Egypt, including Giza, with Southern Upper Egypt.

laurief Oct 25, 2007 The Energy Experience: Results Are In This past Saturday evening, we went "out on a limb" to host an experimental event we call the Energy Experience.Ā  OurĀ intentionĀ is to provideĀ entertaining events that inspire personal transformation by combining the effects ofĀ human energy, golden mean geometry, sound, trance, and focused intention. THE RESULTS ARE IN "I gained more than I can even convey."Ā  -Ā shared by an Energy Experience participant. See more comments below. Our next event is Saturday, November 3rd. Here is just a taste of the experience: CharlesĀ Finkelstein enlightened us with a dynamic Powerpoint presentation on theĀ art and science of the Phi Ratio, Golden Mean Geometry, and the Fibonacci sequence. Charles demonstratesĀ the connection between the space in which weĀ sitĀ andĀ  proportions in art, science, nature, astronomy, and even the human body. To take this concept deeper, Ayhan Yavuz led us through a harmonizingĀ exercise, arranging our chairsĀ in a Golden Spiral, inviting us to experienceĀ subtle shifts in multiple dimensions of energy.

Geometry in general isn`t all that hard, but when it comes to the proofs that`s where most students have trouble. I`m a math major and have a very good understanding of math proofs. I can show you what to look for when doing them, as well as trying to solve any other geometry problem. I can also help with non-Euclidean geometry, especially spherical geometry.

1.618 the Golden Mathematical Proportion of Nature THE FIBONACCI SERIES No consideration of the Golden Proportion can be complete without mention of the Fibonacci Series which is the complementary view of the Golden Proportion. These numbers are also abundant in the beauty of nature and teeth.
Definition In this series of numbers each term is the sum of the previous two terms as follows: etc. The division of any two adjacent numbers gives the amazing Golden number e.g.
34 / 55 = 0.618 or inversely 55 /34 = 1.618. It is called the Fibonacci series after Leonardo of Pisa or (Filius Bonacci), alias Leonardo Fibonacci, born in 1175, whose great book The Liber Abaci (1202) , on arithmetic, was a standard work for 200 years and is still considered the best book written on arithmetic. It was the principal means of demonstrating and introducing the enormous advantages of the Hindu Arabic system of numeration over the Roman System. Leonardo's reputation amongst scholars was deservedly great. It was so outstanding that King Frederick II, visiting Pisa in 1225, held a public competition in mathematics to test Leonardo's skill and he was the only one able to answer the questions (Huntley 158) One of the most spectacular examples of the Fibonacci Series in nature is in the head of the sunflower.
