Government of India
India is a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic with a Parliamentary system of government. The Republic is governed in terms of the Constitution. Sovereignty is shared between the centre and the state government, but the central government is given greater powers. The President is the constitutional head of Executive of the Union. Real executive power vests in a Council of Ministers with the Prime Minister as head of government . The State resembles the federal system. In the states, the Governor is the head of Executive, but real executive power vests with the Chief Minister who heads the Council of Ministers. The judicial setup of the country is headed by the Chief justice, who presides over one of the largest judicial apparatus dispensing criminal, civil and all other forms of litigation. The government head of its legal wing its the Attorney General of India.
After the national elections are held the President calls the most suitable candidate to form the central government. Normally this candidate is the head of the largest party in the parliament. In case the central gov resigns because of any reason, the President can call the other candidate to form the next gov. The President can also declare, according to govt advice, new elections and if necessary an emergency state. The President has the right to be updated about crucial govt matters and other rights like giving amnesty to prisoners etc. According to the Constitution, elections are to be held once in every five years, unless the parliament dissolves earlier or, on the other hand, a state of emergency is declared, in which case parliament can continue for another year. ......

Excerpt of Speech by Hans Frank, Nazi Governor of Occuppied Poland's
Government-General
Preparing His Comrades to Begin Actions Against the Jews.
December 16, 1941
Hans Frank
...One way or another - I will tell you that, quite openly - we must finish off the Jews. The Fuhrer put it into words once: "should united Jewry again succeed in setting off a world war: then the blood sacrifice shall not be made only by the peoples driven into war, but then the Jew of Europe will have met his end". SS Obergruppenfuhrer Heydrich at the Reich Security Main Office. A major Jewish migration will certainly begin.
But what should be done with the Jews? Can you believe that they will be accommodated in settlements in the Ostland ? In Berlin we were told: why are you making all this trouble? We don't want them either - not in Ostland or in the Reichskommisariat liquidate them yourselves! Gentlemen, I must ask you to steel yourselves against all considerations of compassion. We must destroy the Jews wherever we find them and wherever it is at all possible, in order to maintain the whole structure of the Reich...the views that were acceptable up to now cannot be applied to such gigantic, unique events. In any case, we must find a way that will lead us to our goal and I have my own ideas on this.
After the war, Hans Frank was brought before the Allied Tribunal at Nuremburg. He was found guilty of war crines and was sentenced to death by hanging. During his brief imprisonment, he converted to Catholicism and here is an excerpt of his final statement and confession at the conclusion of the trial, which is in sharp contrast to the tone of his speech noted above:

After the annexation of Korea to the Empire of Japan on 1910-08-29, the office of Resident-General was replaced by that of Governor-General. However, the position was unique in among Japan's external possessions, as the Governor-General had sweeping plenipotentiary powers. In addition to administrative tasks, the Governor-General had command of the Imperial Japanese Army and Imperial Japanese Navy units stationed in Korean Empire , and the position also entailed judicial oversight and some legislative powers. Given the powers and levels of responsibility, only ranking full generals in the Japanese Army were selected for the post.

Firearm Safety a Must for Hunters
November 1, 2010 The days of storing grandpa’s old rifle in the attic or between the floor joists are long gone. Rifles and shotguns used for hunting, and any other firearms, should be kept in a securely locked steel cabinet, safe, or vault when not in use. Hunting is an important activity in Canada’s rural and native communities. Rates of gun ownership are high and firearms are used regularly. For households in those areas, safe storage is particularly important. Continue reading 'Firearm Safety a Must for Hunters'

China, or as it is officially known, the People's Republic of China, was formally established on October 1, 1949 when Mao Zedong assumed power and established China as a communist state. Its capital and seat of governmental power is Beijing (sometimes referred to as Peking). China remains a communist state today. However, beginning in the late 1980s, many governmental controls have loosened and the nation has adopted a more liberal governing style, particularly in terms of economic trade and development and modernization. That said, China is not as open as Western societies and the government still exercises great control over such things as free speech, the right to assemble, religion, and reproductive rights.
