edit Overview of different programs
There are many different programs that exist to help people to teach abroad. Three often-used paths for American teachers are going through the Department of Defense , teaching at an International School , or getting TEFL certified in order to indpendently find teaching work overseas. Here we will take a closer look at these three options. Keep in mind that for the International schools, and to teach English abroad, an additional organization must be used to help set up connections.

Higher education in China
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation search Higher education in China is continuously growing, changing and developing. There are over 2,000 universities and colleges, with more than six million enrollments in total. China has set up a degree system, including Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees that are open to foreign students. The country offers non-degree programs as well. According to the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China , the government authority on all matters pertaining to education and language, higher education in China has played a significant part in economic growth, scientific progress and social development in the country "by bringing up large scale of advanced talents and experts for the construction of socialist modernization." New trends in Chinese higher education are attracting the attention of educators around the world. Since China began to develop a Western-oriented university model at the end of nineteenth century, Chinese higher education has continued to evolve. Since the late 1980s, tremendous economic development in China has stimulated reforms in higher education that have resulted in remarkable improvements.

David Icke's Official Forums Main Forums Today's News PDA View Full Version : the government teach us how to walk parallel 07-08-2007, 08:37 PM How much control do the Government want over us. Today in Victoria station they have set up a walking clinic to, wait for it....
TEACH US HOW TO WALK, AS WE DON'T WALK PROPERLY IN HIGH HEELS AND WE DON'T CARRY OUR BAGS PROPERLY.
You have to read between the lines on what thier intentions really are. This is as usual a waste of money and another excuse to assert more control over us.
Lets show the dumb people how to walk, get them even more used to us controling every aspect of thier lives.
How bad does this have to get before UK citizens wake up. Will you let them teach you how to comb you hair? or maybe tie your shoe laces in a certain way? Wake up you sheep! we are being played for and treated like 5 year olds.
This is yet again an excersise to see if they can get away with it.
if they let us show them how to walk it will show us how far we have come in our grab at complete control.
This pointless excersise, in my opinon has nothing to do with the well being or health of Londoners. So then why do they waste thousands of taxpayers pounds on this. Surley there are other departments within our system that could do with the cash.

Teaching English in Valencia, Spain A Great Place to Vacation and teaching pays the bills By Susanne Eineigel
You may think of Spain Last year I taught English in Valencia Moreover, the city itself is an appealing and inexpensive place to live, with a pleasant historic center and numerous art museums. The waterfront esplanade, lined with restaurants and bars, where on summer weekends the dancing goes on until sunrise, is only a 10-minute tramway ride from the center.
A three- to four-hour bus ride, the cheapest and most convenient way to travel, brings you to Barcelona in the north, Madrid in the west, and Alicante in the south. The famous party island of Ibiza is an overnight ferry ride away.
In Valencia, as in the rest of Spain, people are lining up to learn English. University students need English to find employment upon graduation, and companies tell employees that career advancement depends on their ability to speak English. As a result, English language schools are opening up all over Spain.
