    Gray Tongue?
by youhavenoidea Have any of you ever seen this / heard of this?
I first noticed it in this picture - of my friend's Lab.
I then noticed it in a photo of another Lab.
Is it a Lab thing? Is it normal in all dogs? What causes it? I can't believe, in all my years around dogs, that I have never seen this before now.

by We have a couple of friends with labs. The lab/chow mix has a half grey/black tongue. But the pure bred has a pink tongue. I know certain breeds have black, grey or even purple coloring on their tongues. My weims are bright pink!! SAMUEL ADAMS and LUCY LOU
