Hindu mythology
Hindu mythology is a term used by modern scholarship for a large body of Indian literature that details the lives and times of legendary personalities, deities and divine incarnations on earth interspersed with often large sections of philosophical and ethical discourse. Despite connotations of fiction in common usage, the term myth, in theological and academic studies, does not necassarility imply that a narrative is untrue. Wars of Hindu Mythology - The Wars of Hindu mythology depict great heroes and demons in battles of celestial proportions, filled with the awesome force of celestial weapons, religious mysticism, magic, celestial and supernatural beings. Aja (Hindu mythology) - In Hindu mythology , Aja is the son of king Raghu, and thus a scion of the Ikshavaku dynasty, who claimed descent from the sun-God Surya. His paternal grandfather was the pious king Dileepa. Yali (Hindu Mythology) - Yali (pronounced yaali) is a mythical creature seen in many Hindu temples. These are also known as Vyala, in Sanskrit.
