50. The International Virginia Woolf Society
Allied organization of the Modern Language Association which presents two annual sessions on Woolf and her works. Bibliography, mailing list details, relevant links, society conferences and calls for papers.
http://www.utoronto.ca/IVWS/
Over 50 years after her death, the writings of Virginia Woolf are a source of continuing power and ever-increasing influence. Recognized in her own time and country as one of the most significant of the Modernists, Woolf has achieved a stature, in the late twentieth century, of international prominence. Admired first in the era of New Criticism as one of the superb formalist writers of fiction, Woolf's equal relevance to historical and materialist issues became acknowledged largely because of the feminist critics of the 70s and 80s. In the nineties, Woolf scholarship has expanded to include a great variety of interests: historical and cultural studies; feminist and gender studies; postcolonial studies; language and genre studies; and studies with a multitude of other foci such as influence and intertextuality, global reception, constructions of modernism and postmodernism, to name but a few. In recent years, one of the most productive fields of inquiry has involved scholarly work on original manuscripts and variant editions. Despite the ever-growing catalogue of writers in the large corpus of English literature, the writings of Virginia Woolf give every evidence of providing a continuing meeting place for scholars and readers around the world. The International Virginia Woolf Society is devoted to encouraging and facilitating the scholarly study of, critical attention to, and general interest in, the work and career ofVirginia Woolf, and to facilitate ways in which all people interested in her writingsscholars, critics, teachers, students, and common readersmay learn from one another, meet together, contact each other, and help one another. Find out more about our organization, activities, and Virginia Woolf herself by following the links below.

An Introduction to Research Techniques
A research paper presents the results of your investigations on a selected topic. Based on your own thoughts and the facts and ideas you have gathered from a variety of sources, a research paper is a creation that is uniquely yours. The experience of gathering, interpreting, and documenting information, developing and organizing ideas and conclusions, and communicating them clearly will prove to be an important and satisfying part of your education. Revisions to this Guide were made in May 2004 to reflect recommendations in the MLA Handbook's sixth edition (2003) and on the MLA's own Web pages. The formatting of citations recommended in this guide is based on Modern Language Association recommendations. If your instructor requires another format, you can ask that instructor how such a format will be different from the recommendations we have made and make the appropriate adjustments. (Pay special attention to the material on "Footnotes and Endnotes" appearing in the section called "Parenthetical Documentation.")

(Obviously the end goal).  As a small business, knowing where to put any extra funds is 1/2 experience and 1/2 luck. As we try and grow our services and business, I believe a good place to start is finding the best organizations that are already established and begin networking within. To that end, I'm soliciting feedback as to which organizations, you - the webCAPE user, are members of, and if you recommend we join. Getting a feeling for what's out there will help us use any available funds for the greatest benefit.  In my minimal search, here are a few I've found. Any feedback or suggestions is welcomed: CALICO

Language Associations and Connections in Shakespeare's Sonne
At the time when looking for a paper topic for Shakespeare class, I also happened to be reading Shakespeare’s sonnets. As I read each of them, and we were discussing the importance of semantics in reading Shakespeare’s work, it occurred to me that the same words and phrases kept reappearing, in the sonnets, in the Shakespeare plays we read in class and the plays that I had read before. I decided to take this opportunity to research reoccurring themes in language in hopes of gaining a better understanding of the works. I have, in this paper, selected a few sonnets and have traced certain words to other works with the same words or meanings.
In Sonnet I, I noted the use of the words increase, herald, and content:
From fairest creatures we desire increase1,
That thereby beauty's rose might never die,
But as the riper should by time decease,
His tender heir might bear his memory:
But thou contracted to thine own bright eyes

It was created in Mexico in 1951 and represents the union of all the separate academies in the Spanish -speaking world. Through the initiative of then-president of Mexico Miguel Alemán Valdés , the First Congress of Academies convened with the purpose of maintaining the integrity of and fostering the further growth of Spanish. The meeting was held from April 23 to May 6, 1951 and resulted in the creation of the association and its permanent commission. The Real Academia Española (RAE) was not present at the initial meeting but participated in the Permanent Commission. Ever since the Second Congress convened in 1956, the RAE has been a regular participant. The collaboration between RAE and the other academies was expressed in the coauthorship of the Dictionary of the RAE (starting from the 22nd edition, published in 2001), and the 1999 edition of the
