      Fort Meade Alliance to promote STEM to students with Tech Mania The Fort Meade Alliance is hosting its 6th Tech Mania to help boost high school students’ interest in STEM-based careers through hands-on technology demonstrations by local companies. Nearly 200 students from Anne Arundel, Howard and Prince George’s Counties will gather at Capitol College on Friday Nov. 12 beginning at 9 a.m. to experience some of the technologies being used right in their own backyard. Students will examine cybersecurity, social networks, Bluetooth technology, iPhone apps, video surveillance, intrusion detection, satellite and GPS technology and home networks. CEASOM and REL Mid-Atlantic Partnership Announced
REL Mid-Atlantic and CEASOM have formed a partnership. REL Mid-Atlantic is one of the ten Regional Educational Laboratories sponsored by the U.S. Department of Educations Institute for Education Sciences. The aim of the labs is to bring the latest and best research and proven practices into school improvement efforts. This aim clearly aligns with CEASOM'S mission. The Council of Educational Administrative and Supervisory Organizations of Maryland was founded in 1971. The organization is comprised of fourteen organizations which are primarily involved in the areas of educational administration and supervision. Educational information is shared throughout the year.
