German Crosses uses the simplest badges for the icons to please people like Eden Smallwood.
Iron Crosses uses an (uncensored) Iron Cross 2nd class for the German infantry for that certain film look.
The Grog Scenario icons uses an actual badge for all the different German and Russian troop types, such as the Infantry Assault badge for German infantry . For those people that just know that the anti-partisan badge is a dagger with snakes at its feet in a circle of oak leaves, just from looking at a strange grey blob!
All in glorious 20 x 20 pixels!
All have been updated in some form – so you need to update!
Von Lucke has also done an update of his scenario icon bar.
I also have matching hidden icons for Balkankreuz, hi-res Iron Crosses from Juju and properly mirrored Red Stars in cloth and metal cap badges styles. I also cover all the mods that will get your CDV version as clos as possible to the US version and beyond!

Xinjiang Bans Separatist Talk
Redazione - Mar, 05/01/2010 - 08:08 China's restive northwest gets a new law.
HONG KONG—Legislators in China's troubled northwestern region of Xinjiang have passed a new "ethnic unity" law banning pro-independence speech and writings, following last year's deadly ethnic violence between minority Uyghurs and Han Chinese.
The "Law on Education for Ethnic Unity in Xinjiang" was voted into law by regional legislators last week, and will take effect from Feb. 1.
"It rules that all people and organizations are banned from promulgating speech detrimental to ethnic unity, and from gathering, providing, producing, and spreading information to that effect," Eligen Imibakhi, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Regional People's Congress, was quoted by official media as saying.
The law spells out that it is an obligation for all citizens to work towards national unity and against secession, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
"Anyone who endangers ethnic unity or provokes secession will face penalties and prosecution," the agency said.

I n t u i t P i c t u r e s H O R K A Y B o l z a n o g o l d ... H o m e The following is proposed as the basis of the media items - Book, DVD, film - associated with the Bolzano Gold Stories. Narrative
In the very last days of the Second World War, Tulse Luper, calling himself Giacomo Farenti, and dressed as an Italian cavalry officer, is riding a white horse in Northern Italy on a journey from Rome back to England. He is distantly pursued by a German-American ex-lover, Passion Hockmeister, and the US Military Police who, with reason, connect him with the death of Julius Lephrenic, an American Mormon Fascist sympathiser who died in mysterious circumstances connected with uranium in a hotel bedroom near the Colosseum in Rome. On a moonlit May night, riding through a pine forest near Bolzano close to the Austrian border, Luper is the agent of a car crash. A Mercedes driven by a German Army Officer, swerves to avoid horse and rider and fatally crashes into a tree. The driver’s wrist watch is smashed at exactly 2.09 am, 8th May 1945. Luper is thrown from his horse and the horse becomes lame.
Deep in the forest, Luper spends the night with the crashed car, the corpse, the gold bars and his lame horse, and the following morning, is surprised and arrested by a party of gun-happy local hunters who quickly penetrate his assumed disguise. The party includes an Italian policeman, Arturo Gaetano, an American serviceman, William Bell, and a cafe proprietor, Joop Baeler, all of them equivocal in their support of the new post-war regime.

And these can be manufactured by multiple still images manipulated in verysophisticated ways by Photo-shop techniques, often simulating movement.
Onto these we will insert pieces of moving film activity, either to be shot or from the copious materialalready filmed for the Tulse Luper films In Luper discovers that the war officially ended in Europe at exactly the time of his crash with the car as witnessed by Harpsch’s smashed watch - a significant, mysterious, coincidental circumstance worthmemorialising. The story Luper creates for Harpsch is that he and his jewess cook lover have a child - a daughter. Luper christens her Fidelia. The cook is arrested and sent to a concentration camp, Harpsch is stripped of his rank and sent to fight in Russia, all the time hoping one day again to see his daughter who he believes has beensent out of the country by an adoption society and is probably living in the Southern Alps - either

Anticonstitution for a Promethean Society
A Continuation of The Promethean Manifesto
2003 Edition (Text) by Phoenix This is a plain version.
Creation of the first Promethean society must be the first major objective established for the Promethean movement by its leaders, the Prometheans. This society will be an example for the rest of the world, and the forerunner of a Promethean world. The Promethean Manifesto implied what a Promethean society must be like. This continuation of the Manifesto goes further in applying Promethean principles, and depicting a Promethean society which lives by them. A Promethean society has no official documents, without government to make them official, and so I call this an Anticonstitution . The difference between a Promethean society and the societies we have known is so great, we may often search for the language to express it. This change will be monumental. 1. Public Attitudes Towards Islam
Interesting findings from Insight , with thanks to Nicolei: PARIS The accelerating number of ever-bloodier outrages committed in the name of Islam has produced a curious transatlantic split over how this religion is to be seen. A plurality of Americans (46 percent) believes that Islam is more likely than other faiths to encourage violence among its believers, according to a new survey released by the Washington-based Pew Forum on Religion and Pubic Life. Yet more Americans take a positive than a negative view of Islam (39 vs. 37 percent). Meanwhile, European scholars interpret this result as a sign of "American naivitÈ" when it comes to judging the radical Muslim threat. "This is in line with the tenor of 90 percent of the books on Islam currently oozing out of the United States," said Christine Schirrmacher, president of the Islamic Studies institute in Bonn, Germany. "Every theologian over there seems to feel compelled these days to pen an apologetic tome on this religion, and almost all of these books are of questionably scholarship, except for those written by bona fide experts, who are often remarkably profound." These sharp words are part of an astonishing phenomenon: In formerly "liberal" Europe, a radical turnaround in the public, scholarly and theological perception of Islam is underway, according to Schirrmacher and other specialists.
