The mission of the Foundation is to invest its resources to improve the health and well being of Seacoast residents. The Foundation is charged with two primary responsiblities: 1) monitoring Portsmouth Regional Hospital to ensure that seacoast citizens get high quality medical care in a first rate facility at competitive prices and 2) to use the Foundation's resources to fund heath related programs to benefit citizens in the Seacoast communities of Portsmouth, Greenland, Rye, Newington, New Castle, and North Hampton, NH; and Kittery, Eliot, and York, ME. How You Can Support the Foundation for Seacoast Health The Foundation for Seacoast Health is funded through a combination of contributions from individuals and the proceeds from the sale of Portsmouth Hospital to Hospital Corporation of America in 1983. The work of the Foundation is possible because of the long standing support of friends and partners in our community.

We spent quite a bit of time touring New Hampshire, looking for just the right spot. We found it in the Hanover/Lebanon area.We live down 89, 10 minutes from New London and 20 minutes from Lebanon. We have a country residence but access to all the resources a major hub like Hanover/Lebanon offers - a Borders bookstore, Home Depot, wonderful restaurants, etc. And New London is a find as well. This small, well-to-do college town offers more than we imagined when we moved here including a very nice small playhouse. There is a great karate studio for my boys in Lebanon and a great dance studio for my daughter just a handful of miles from our home. The state capital is 40 minutes away and porcupines who preceded us here in all directions. In researching pumpkin patches I found a list of small growers throughout the state. I haunt such places during the summer and look forward to finding out more about these. I think I found a great place to get a Christmas tree this year. Picking out just the right tree is always a fun adventure!

"Though few people in the United States may actually experience an erupting volcano, the evidence for earlier volcanism is preserved in many rocks of North America. Features seen in volcanic rocks only hours old are also present in ancient volcanic rocks, both at the surface and buried beneath younger deposits." Excerpt from: Brantley, 1994

With combined experience exceeding 60 years, our three Doctors of Audiology have the education and experience to expertly diagnosis and treat you or your loved one. Our services include audiological evaluations of patients of all ages including infants. We are one of only three sites in New Hampshire qualified to test babies who fail their newborn screening in the hospital.
With thousands of satisfied hearing aid users, we pride ourselves in our commitment to the hearing needs of our patients. We dispense multiple brands of hearing aids and continually stay abreast on the latest hearing aid breakthroughs. For example, the design and development of the new open ear hearing aid technology has resulted in dramatic comfort and benefit to over 600 of our patients during the past 4 years. This technology continues to evolve and is now available with a rechargeable battery.
Disorders of the balance system are not an uncommon complaint. In fact, it is the third most common complaint seen in any healthcare providers office. Over 85% of all dizziness and vertigo can be attributed to inner ear disorders. Many causes of dizziness can be treated. Our office has effectively treated hundreds of patients suffering from vestibular disorders, allowing them to enjoy life again.
