The Ohio Educational Credit Union is pleased to announce the availability of the Credit Union Student Choice alternative loan program that can help fill any funding gaps that federal aid can leave behind. As the cost of both public and private colleges and universities continues to increase, federal funding has not kept pace. This growing gap between what college costs and the financial aid available is causing many families to resort to higher cost and more expensive loan alternatives to pay for higher education. Our zero origination fee, lower interest rates and flexible repayment options

Ohio Regents Deliver Third Annual Condition Report on Higher Education to Chancellor
The nine-member board that advises the chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents released its third annual report on the Condition of Higher Education in Ohio.
This report examines the issue of whether the University System of Ohio has student-centered strategies and policies capable of meeting the needs of a diverse and ever changing student population. The report also examines emerging trends in higher education and provides updates to the key data examined by the Regents in their first condition report released in 2008. In constructing the Third Report, the Regents received input from a wide variety of stakeholders, including institution presidents, faculty and, most importantly, students who testified before the Regents regarding their collegiate experience.
