Welcome to the The Henry County Genealogical Society web site. Whether you are new to the site, or a return visitor, we think you will like our new look. There are still a few bumps in the road, so please be patient with us. Henry County Genealogical Society meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Monday of the month (except August and December) at the Edwin Wood Memorial Library, 208 North East Ave., Deshler, Ohio, unless otherwise noted . Click on the Events link at the left of this page for the full meeting schedule. Pictured here is the Deshler 4th Grade class of 1927-28. (Click on it to see a larger version and the names of the children in the picture.)
Henry County History Vol. 1 Photos
As of April 23, 2009, his database contains 300 of the more than 600 photos and captions that appear in Henry County, Ohio , Vol. 1. Of the three volumes, this is the least complete, but we are adding photos as quickly as we can scan them in. Owing to improvements in our equipment, the quality of these photos is significantly better than those in the other two volumes.
