TRSD Board of Education if(ifadeimgcount >0) new fadeshow(fadeimages, 527, 145, 0, 8500, 1, "R") October 26, 2010 To All Staff and Community of Three Rivers School District I need to begin by thanking the many teachers, staff members and community members for their encouraging words to me personally the last few days. The kindness and encouragement has been greatly appreciated. From my communications with people, I have learned that people would like more information on the current financial crisis the district is facing and how we reached this place at this time. The main purpose of this writing is to provide information about the financial crisis. Background: Three Rivers School District is an incredible place for kids. Schools are in some of the most beautiful places in the entire world. Schools are safe, gang free and attractive places to attend. Teachers, staff and administrators are hard working, talented people. Community support is huge and welcomed. Schools are small including three high schools that are small enough for kids to be known and have opportunities to be involved in athletics and activities that would not always be available to them in larger schools.

Children in Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, and Nigeria, where polio still exists, can be immunized for life for just 60 cents a child. Please help Rotary make the world polio-free forever, by contributing your change to the "Pennies for Polio" containers located in our schools. Thanks.
