    The Kill-a-Watt energy monitor is now available to checkout at Oregon libraries. Photo: Energy Trust of Oregon Sustainable Business Oregon reports that Energy Trust of Oregon is teaming up with public libraries across Oregon to offer energy monitors that can be checked out like books or DVDs. The Kill-A-Watt monitors provide residents with a quick and easy method of measuring the energy use of various appliances and electronic devices. "Using these energy monitors can be eye opening and is a great way to learn where household energy costs can be trimmed," said Marshall Johnson, residential sector manager, Energy Trust in a press release. Knowing which devices are sucking down the most energy can be very helpful when attempting to reduce one's energy use and carbon footprint. So far, there are 54
