Oregon Tourism
Discoveries From Coast to Canyons and Everything In-between
Oregon is where I live, and there's so much to love about this state that Oregon tourism is easy to write about. If you are planning a short visit, I recommend you make it longer! Take a lot of time to really explore all the nooks and crannies, and you'll develop a sincere appreciation for the area. If you are fortunate enough to live here, then take some long weekends and go visit those places you've always thought of seeing. You know, those places where the tourists go! Don't wait, just make a list of some Oregon attractions and get started.
Of course an Oregon tour will include some of the cities - Portland, Eugene, Salem, Medford, Klamath Falls, Bend, Pendleton - and the famous Oregon coast from Astoria on the north tip to Brookings just before you get to California. Along the way you'll see a lot of wonderful places and form lasting memories. From Crater Lake near the southwest corner to Hells Canyon in the northeast corner, Oregon tourism can be addictive and you'll want to share your stories. So make sure your camera batteries are charged up! Crater Lake
Perhaps inspired by all the beauty, creativity is a part of daily life in Oregon - music, fiber arts, metalwork, jewelry design, just about anything you can imagine - and every month brings festivals and fairs to support them. Going to a festival can be a fascinating way to spend a few hours, and you may discover a new hobby to take up.

This lovely little piece of art was made as a gift to celebrate our 20 year anniversary of working together. It was particularly intended as a gift from Travel Oregon to Dan Wieden. It contained the copy from our enduring print campaign about Oregon Dreamers and awesome folded maps and whimsical, hand drawn (by Scrappers!) trip paths for each region, covering all seven regions of the state we love and call home.
This is great recognition for W+K.
Congratulations to those who worked on it.
