Register Welcome to the Association of Pediatric Oncology Social Workers Our organization became incorporated in 1978 as the vision of six pediatric oncology social workers hoping to build a community, assist in formalizing the pediatric oncology social work profession, and share information. It has grown to an outstanding professional organization with members from across the United States, Canada, and many other countries. Our mission has always been to advance the practice of pediatric oncology social work and influence policies and programs nationally and internationally that enhance the lives of children with cancer and their families. APOSW has grown through the commitment and dedication of its members. We encourage everyone to participate in APOSW committees and special interest working groups and to share your wisdom through the listserv and our website news section. Thank you for joining us in helping APOSW continue to grow and advance as an important professional organization.
