Question How many sects are there in the pentecostal Religion and what are there names? Whisch sect deals the most with deliverance? Answer Pentecostal is not a religion. Its group of Christians Believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit/the Holy Ghost. They Speak in tounges and go beyond trying to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit into demonstrating the gifts of the Spirit. Usually, a church group will have at least one member who can talk in tongues and another who can interpret tongues. Pentecostal movements are concerned primarily with the experience of the “baptism in the Holy Spirit”, accompanied by “gifts of the Holy Spirit”, especially speaking in tongues, prophecy and healing. The term “Pentecostal” was taken from the Day of Pentecost experience of Acts 2:4, probably the distinguishing “proof text” of Pentecostalism, when believers in Jerusalem were “all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance”..
