"Increasing energy efficiency is saving school districts 30 percent or more on energy bills each year," said Shawn M. Garvin, EPA mid-Atlantic regional administrator. "It's a smart way to save money and help the environment by reducing greenhouse gases. Energy efficient buildings also provide a comfortable and productive learning environment."
