The high level of market competition and the increasing awareness of the impact of on product acceptance have made website localisation a high priority for many large businesses with an international presence. A global medium, such as the internet, has made this ever more relevant. Website localisation is one of the most fundamental steps for a company becoming international. The internet has granted individuals and companies immediate access to global resources and global audiences. While initially, 90 per cent of the Web revenue was generated in the English-speaking countries, today this is no longer true. The internet is becoming more and more cosmopolitan as its users are becoming a truly global mix. To give an example, according to recent statistics
